The Center manages a special community of commercial software developers who have pledged to only build software that can be shared by all other government agencies. The cost of the shared software significantly drops as multiple government agencies participate. Our developers have pledged to work collaboratively with each other to integrate their products in order to give government the highest quality software at the lowest price through collective government purchasing power. CFGIO's new business model brings vendors to our organization that are dedicated to giving government extra value by eliminating redundant computer systems throughout local, state and federal government. It is through this collective sharing model that the Center can provide extraordinary savings in software. Detailed program background information can be found here

Sponsorships of specific solutions are also available. Our marketplace brings multiple government agencies together where they can collectively purchase or pay for the construction of open source software that, when construction is finished, will be free for everybody to download. Government Parking Management Parking Management Software Government parking management software application for federal, state, local organizations. Estimate: VyaNax's total price: $159,000. The product can be collectively purchased by multiple government agencies so that the more purchasing partners participate, the less expensive the price is for each agency. E.g.: 2 agencies, only pay $79,500 each, 10 agencies only pay $15, 900 each. All purchasing partners do not have to purchase at same time. Late-arriving partners decrease cost for both themselves and early-adopting government partners. Solution will be Afferro v. 3 open source. This price includes 12 weeks post implementation support. Project Synthesis Gov health services Free to download. Project Synthesis is middleware that serves as a web service translation layer between various public and proprietary Health and Human Services XML and CSV formats. Two private nonprofit organizations, 2-1-1 Tampa Bay Cares, Inc. and Homeless Services Network, Inc. are using Synthesis to collaborate with their community partner agencies to expand HUD Continuum of Care (CoC) data collection on homeless clients, but it could be used to translate between any health and human services data formats. Citizen Suggestion Database General government improvement Open source app allows the general public to post suggestions for any government agency regarding any topic. Agencies can see what the public recommends to them. Free access to all government organizations that wish to use the application’s tools to vote for and prioritize citizen suggestions regarding their agencies. Specific App Suggestion Box General government improvement Open source computer program allows users of any specific app or website to make improvement suggestions to that app or website. Basically a place for users of government software to suggest improvements for that specific software. Free for any government organization to download and use, and free to use our cloud version. GNU Health Health GNU Health is a Free Health and Hospital Information System that provides the following functionality: (1) Electronic Medical Record (EMR) (2) Hospital Information System (HIS) (3) Health Information System
It is designed to be multi-platform, so it can be installed in different operating systems (GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, MS Windows), database management systems (PostgreSQL), and enterprise resource planning (Tryton).
GNU Health uses a modular approach around the kernel, with different functionality that can be included to meet the health center needs. The current modules are:
  • Health: Main data model for objects such as patient, evaluations, health centers, diseases, appointments, vaccinations and medicaments
  • Pediatrics: Includes models for neonatology, pediatrics and psychosocial evaluations (Pediatric Symptoms Checklist - PSC)
  • Gynecology: Gynecology, obstetrics, preventive medicine, perinatal information and puerperium
  • Lifestyle: Physical exercise, diets, drug addictions, National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) recreational drug database, Henningfield ratings, sexuality, risk factors, home safety, child safety
  • Genetics: Hereditary risks. Around 4200 “disease genes” from the NCBI / GeneCards
  • Lab: Manages the request, creation and evaluation of laboratory analyses. Interface to Laboratory Information Management System
  • Socioeconomics: Education, occupation, living conditions, hostile areas, child labour and prostitution, among others.
  • Inpatient: Patient Hospitalization, bed assignment, care and nursing plans.
  • Surgery: Pre-operation checklist, procedures, operating rooms, patient surgery history.
  • Invoice: Link to the health center financial administration.
  • Calendar : Adds functionality to connect with a CalDAV client, and manage calendars for appointments.
  • Inpatient_calendar : Manages calendars for patient hospitalizations and bed assignments.
  • QR_codes : Includes Quick Recognition (QR) Codes for identification
  • History : Specific reports for patient clinical history
  • MDG6 : Millennium Development Goal 6. Functionality to fight Malaria, Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS.
